Throughout human history, words, pictures, music, dances, and different forms of art have always played a huge role in documenting our daily activities, depicting different historical eras, and sharing touching stories. Art expresses the purest emotions of our hearts. While different artistic styles and mediums have been developed throughout time, the powerful effect art can have on us remains the same. Art reflects the contemporary social life, affects people's points of views, moral consciousness, and philosophical viewpoints, and can change people’s attitudes towards life. The effect of art also includes the stimulation of people's aesthetic pleasure and joys and enables people to obtain spiritual enjoyment and satisfaction from it. Therefore, some of the most precious and amazing works of art, dating hundreds or even thousands of years ago, still deeply moves us today!

Art transcends the limitations of language and words and utilizes the most natural and direct ways to allow people of different backgrounds, races, and countries to interact and communicate freely at the spiritual level. Art creators express their love for life and care for humanitarian efforts through their works. Oftentimes, it warms the wounded heart and gives the people who are lost the strength to keep going. The positive energy conveyed through art is often beyond people's imagination. As the saying goes, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” In addition to moving people's hearts at the time of creation, the energy of a beautiful painting will remain and transcend the boundaries of time and space.

The idea and meaning of art have developed over various time periods, from a pure imitation of beauty or nature to the expression of emotions, expression of ideas and even communications. Art is an indispensable element in our lives and subtly impacts our lives. Aristotle once said, 'The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance'. Art originates from the inner part of each person; therefore, the status of your heart will be faithfully presented in the works of art! Artists express their own spiritual perception and interpretation onto their works. During meditation, the call of conscience leads people to explore the beautiful spiritual garden within, allowing creativity to emerge like a flowing spring, wonderful and diverse. Through this cycle of positivity, the overall health of our society can be improved, which in turn can make the world a better place.

We are all endowed with conscience, a precious treasure that is innate to human beings! Conscience can guide us towards the right direction. This can be achieved through daily dialogue with ourselves, examination of our own hearts and awakening of our inner conscience. A few minutes of self-reflection a day can purify the mind and soul and generate wisdom, which in turn encourages good deeds and inspires compassion from within our hearts. This positive cycle is reflected in our artwork, whether it is a painting, a sculpture, a poem, or even a song, it can inspire the hearts of others and further generate positive energy for our world.

We are here to celebrate the "Inspire Your Heart with Art Day". We hope that artistic creations can be based on conscience, and the most primitive kindness of human beings can be presented through different art forms to communicate emotions, spread beauty, inspire each other, and create harmonious and beautiful societies.

The planning for a day starts in the morning. The planning for a year starts in spring. The planning for a life, starts with conscience. May our hearts be full of love and guided by conscience; allow our conscience to inspire great arts to exhilarate the hearts of others and bring kindness and positivity to our world.

May us all be blessed with safety, peace, and happiness.

Thank you all!
