Year 2005 is the 30th Anniversary of Association of World Citizens. The discussion of UN reform is of great significance. Ever since becoming the Honorary Vice-President and member of Advisory Board of AWC, I am a member of AWC, zhang-men-ren of Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy, and president of Federation of World Peace and Love. And I have been continually working for the welfare of world citizens around the world.

NGOs have made great contributions on issues of global peace, economic development, equality, human rights, races, children, diseases treatments and resource allocation. We can do great benefits to UN by having people’s voices heard within UN and forming the Peoples’ Parliamentary Assembly to facilitate the communication between the people and the UN.  We have to learn impartialness in giving out our love so as to realize the larger freedom.  All forms of freedom start from interaction between people. There will be no peace, when no love. Peace needs love. And love needs to be balanced.  It shows the importance of balance.   More love and respect in a balanced way is the key to ignite and fulfill development, security and human rights for all.

We have to fulfill different people’s needs and aspirations through efforts of balanced wisdom, which are based upon love and processed with peace resolutions. We understand it is easier said than done. But the scale of peace is in everyone’s hands. Heads of state and world leaders are the key to turn around the world. The future of the world lies in the split second change of the important figures. We have to reform the image of decision-making in UN with brand new thinking and the courage of correcting ourselves. The reformed UN will be a positive vehicle for the world and meeting the changes and demands in the 21st century.

Therefore it is very meaningful to have people’s voices heard within UN. Parties, group discussions, press conferences or cultural exchanges are all cases of real actions to experience exchanges of goodwill through face-to-face interaction so as to avoid unnecessary changes. This is the best opportunity to work together to contribute to the world.

Let all of us from every organization work together for AWC, having more members joining, doing good work as a NGO, facilitating UN reforms and working for the benefits of all people. All program participants are good people with great minds. We should dedicate our lives to world people so as not to waste the time.
