2008 World Summit in Paris
The year 2008 is the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Paris was chosen as the host for the 61st Annual UN DPI/NGO Conference. The delegates of Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL) also attended the conference. They held the "World Summit on Love and Peace" to exchange ideas and share experiences with representatives from all walks of life, bringing together 32 NGOs from all over the world in the formal announcement of the "Declaration of Global Efforts to Safeguard the Earth".
