World Summits of Love and Peace (2001-2016)
As UN is aware of the importance of civil NGO organizations, in 2000, the United Nations proposed Eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) to construct the future. To echo the goals, FOWPAL have held "Love and Peace World Summit" to promote love and peace for many years. At the 2005 summit, Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze proclaimed the "Declaration of International Love and Peace Day", setting the annual September 15 as
"International Love and Peace Day". In 2014, the movement "An Era of Conscience" was launched, pointing out the fundamental solution to the issues addressed by the annual gathering of UN NGOs after 2015.
