Delivering a speech at the 27th Eurasian Economic Summit, Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze called on conscience to practice peace

The 27th Eurasian Economic Summit 2024 was held on February 21st and 22nd at the WOW Istanbul Hotel. For the third year, the Federation of World Peace and Love(FOWPAL) was invited to participate in the event and invited the heads of state to ring the Bell of World Peace and Love. On the first day of the event, seven leaders from Poland, Romania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Kosovo, and Uzbekistan, including former presidents, prime ministers, deputy prime ministers and ministers, rang the bell and made wishes. Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, President of The Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL), spoke on the theme of "Practicing Conscience to Transform Crisis into Peace" on the 22nd of this month. He called on everyone from heads of state to global citizens to adhere to conscience and practice kindness, empowering us to halt the world’s decay, secure the future for all humanity, and rejuvenate life.

Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze indicated that in a world fraught with crises, where opportunities and challenges coexist, now is a pivotal moment to alter the course of human destiny. By setting aside prejudices, uniting in solidarity, understanding the interdependence of fortune and misfortune, facing issues with a positive attitude, and taking practical actions to turn danger into safety, we can return to the path of sustainable development.

He proposed to leaders and citizens of the world fundamental solutions to overcome the current global crisis. "Now is the era that requires the unity of benevolent forces, the combination of human wisdom and innovation. Promoting a culture of peace with love and conscience is fundamental to a sustainable future. Together, let us respond to the United Nations’ 'International Day of Conscience,' aspiring through the collaborative efforts of international leaders and global partners to use acts of conscience and kindness as a stabilizing force and to create world peace. Let us all strive to continuously review, amend, and improve with every action we take, making our world better day by day!"

On the opening day of the summit, seven leaders including Valdis Zatlers, President of Latvia (2007-2011), Petre Roman, Prime Minister of Romania (1989-1991), Emilija Redzepi, Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Meglena Plugchieva, Deputy Prime Minister of Bulgaria (2008-2009), Grzegorz W. Kolodko, Deputy Prime Minister of Poland (2002-2003), Jasna Duraković, Minister of Education and Science of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Vladimir Norov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan (2006-2010), rang the bell and made wishes for peace.

Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze's global activism and contribution to the promotion of peace among the members of FOWPAL has become a positive influence across borders, races and creeds.

During the summit, FOWPAL promoted the promotion of these three declarations: the Declaration of International Day of Conscience, the Declaration of World Day of the Power of Hope, and the Declaration of World Prayer Day, inviting all guests to join. These efforts aim to use conscience, prayer, and the power of wishes to change the fate of humanity, promoting safety and peace for oneself, others, and the world. By uniting in action, they seek to lead the Earth towards a path of sustainable development.
