Eastern Immortals and Celestial Creatures Appeared at the Eurasian Economic Summit Gala Dinner to Deliver the Energy of Blessing

 

The 27th Eurasia Economic Summit 2024, organized by the Marmara Group Foundation, with the theme of "FROM CRISIS, BUILD STABILITY: Cooperation for Building a More Inclusive World" , held its first gala dinner on the evening of February 21st at the WOW Airport Hotel. The Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL), which has traveled to 103 countries on six continents and promotes love and peace through cultural exchanges, has been invited to participate in the  Summit three times since 2022 and hosted the ceremony of ringing the Bell of World Peace and Love.

FOWPAL volunteers led by Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, President of FOWPAL, were invited to exhibit diverse cultural expressions through performance at the dinner; the Four Immortals of Fortune, Wealth, Longevity, and Happiness and the Celestial Creatures, including the Peacock (representing selflessness), the Qilin (signifying benevolence), and the Lion (representing happiness and auspiciousness), appeared to spread blessing.

The FOWPAL delegations have been invited to perform at the Sydney Olympics, the 2017 Universiade, and other big events.  They have also been invited to the U.S. Capitol Hill Hall, to present the culture inherited from the ancient times and the artistry of martial arts.

At first, all the performers from FOWPAL marched into the gala dinner venue. The melodious yangqin and flute purified the soul through music, bringing harmony , serenity, and delight. The elegant white peacock, which are capable of turning  poisons into fragrance, and the blossoming nobly peony, which spreads elegant and prosperous, representing all the blessings to the Summit.

The traditional Oriental opera sang out the message of "compassion and love for the world to prosper". The Four Immortals of  Fortune, Wealth, Longevity and Happiness and the Celestial Creatures Qilin and Lion with joyful kids, hoping Türkiye a quick recovery from last year's earthquake. They prayed for Türkiye's vitality,  the growth and prosperity of all creatures, peace and well-being, happiness and energy. By enriching the world with positive energy , they also wished for the success of the conference.

A professor attending the banquet said that he was very excited to see the FOWPAL performance, which was very brilliant. He strongly agreed with FOWPAL’s promotion of love and peace, especially as the world situation changes and regional wars become increasingly dangerous. Love and peace are very important, and we need to discuss solutions together.

The goal of the Marmara Group Foundation is to provide solutions to the world’s problems in the fields of economy, democracy and security. Under the theme of "FROM CRISIS, BUILD STABILITY: Cooperation for Building a More Inclusive World", this year's Summit covered a wide range of topics, including the economy, climate crisis, environment and energy, human rights, cooperation in combating illegal trade, artificial intelligence, and transportation corridors. In addition, a special session: "A Lifetime in Pursuit of Water" was held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of H.E. Süleyman Demirel's birth, for his unforgettable contribution regarding the sustainable use of Türkiye’s water resources.

For the third consecutive year, Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, President of FOWPAL, brought the 240-kilogram Bell of World Peace and Love to the conference venue. At the 2023 Summit, 19 heads of state and leaders from all walks of life rang the bell to pray for Türkiye after the earthquake and the world. This year, echoing the theme of the Summit, the bell will continue to be rung throughout the conference to bring back the balance of the earth, the happiness of mankind, and the sustainability of the planet.

For many years, volunteers from the Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL) have been visiting around the globe to hold bell-ringing ceremonies and world leader summit of love and peace. This year, Dr. Hong Tao-Tze, the president of FOWPAL, specially awarded  the FOWPAL PEACE BELL AWARD and the citation, an Order of Merit, and a limited commemorative silver coin for his 80th birthday to several leaders, including former Romanian President Emil Constantinescu, former Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki, former Bosnian and Herzegovinian President Mladen Ivanic, former Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu, former Moldovan President Petru Lucinschi, and former President Ersin Tatar of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. They were recognized for exerting their positive influence in their respective fields and collectively contributing to world peace.

A Turkish gentleman, who is a senior executive and does not speak English, responded to the declaration signing. Volunteers interacted with him using a translation app. This gentleman is aware of FOWPAL’s promotion of conscience, and he stated that conscience guides us to make the right decisions and do good deeds. Love and peace are very important to the world, and through world peace, everyone can laugh heartily. He quoted a beautiful proverb from the past, “The worst peace is better than the most just war.” He hoped to share good messages with his colleagues and friends. By Participating in the declaration signing, collectively promoting the change of human destiny with conscience, blessings, and willpower. We’re not doing these just for ourselves, but for others, and for the safety and peace of the world, help unite people in action, gather positive energy to lead the earth towards the path of sustainable development.
